LABADVANCE provides high pressure, high temperature microfluidic laboratory testing services to petroleum and chemical companies.
SERVICE BASED PRODUCTS
LABADVANCE's Pressure-Volume-Temperature (PVT) studies provide a deeper understanding and prediction of fluid behavior under reservoir conditions. Using microfluidic techniques, these studies provide significant cost savings and increased accuracy, enabling the determination of key parameters such as bubble point pressure, compressibility factor, and oil volume factor.
Hydraulic fracturing (HF) studies at LABADVANCE aim to evaluate oil flowback after exposure to HF fluids, simulating the processes that occur during hydraulic fracturing. Using microfluidic technology, these experiments provide rapid data on oil-injection interactions under representative reservoir conditions, facilitating the selection of the best HF fluid additives.
Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) methods developed by LABADVANCE use microfluidic experiments to optimize approaches to increasing oil recovery from reservoirs. Experiments on microfluidic chips allow visualization of two-phase fluid flow, control of sediment and emulsion formation, ensuring high speed and repeatability of experiments.
Minimum miscibility pressure (MMP) studies with a focus on determining the miscibility conditions of gas with reservoir oil are an important part of LABADVANCE's work. The use of microfluidic technologies allows for a significant reduction in the volume of oil required for experiments and a reduction in the time it takes to conduct them, while improving the accuracy of MMP determination and facilitating visual control of experimental processes.
