MFS is a custom high-pressure, high-temperature microfluidic platform that LABADVANCE designs around the customer's methodology rather than supplying as an off-the-shelf instrument. Depending on the configuration, the system operates at up to 350 °C and 89 MPa and lets you observe flow, phase transitions, mixing, displacement and particle deposition directly in the microfluidic chip.
The flow circuit is assembled from matched modules: an HPHT chip holder, high-pressure syringe pumps, BPRs, absolute and differential pressure sensors, temperature sensors, piston containers, valves and fittings, an optical system, a control unit and dedicated software. On request, temperature control covers not only the cell but the entire circuit — lines, containers, valves and other critical components.
A single rig covers PVT studies, EOR testing, fracturing tasks, chemical synthesis and biomedical research; a test typically needs less than 10 mL of fluid. The software controls the pumps, BPRs and heaters, displays pressure, temperature and flow in real time and logs all experiment parameters.
LABADVANCE provides local delivery, commissioning, training and service. The system can be extended as your methods evolve: additional pumps, BPRs, containers, sensors, heating loops, optics and replaceable chips.
