Estudios microfluídicos de la presión mínima de miscibilidad para n-decano y CO2

Our research group recently published a paper titled 'Microfluidic Studies of Minimum Miscibility Pressure for n-Decane and CO2' in the special issue 'Optimization of Well Testing Operations in Oil and Gas Fields' of the journal Energies.
The work describes an improved method for determining minimum miscibility pressure (MMP), which is highly important in characterizing gas–liquid systems, including the interaction of gas with reservoir fluid. This study extends previously developed simpler and innovative methodologies for determining the MMP of injected solvents and oil in situ. Experiments with pure fluids, their subsequent modeling and comparison with literature data helped validate the proposed method. Its potential applications lie in accelerating lab testing, improving the reliability of experimental results, and ultimately enhancing the quality of field operations for gas-based enhanced oil recovery.
