The high-pressure, high-temperature microfluidic holder is the fixture that seats glass microfluidic chips and connects them to pressure, temperature and optical-recording circuits. It is designed to reproduce reservoir conditions: working pressure up to 1000 atm and temperature up to 200 °C.
A transparent viewing window allows real-time microscope observation of fluid flow, oil displacement and phase transitions inside the pore space. The holder is built for chips of the main geometries — physical rock structure, uniform and random channel networks — and connects through standard fittings to pumping and temperature-control systems.
