Rock-on-a-Chip is a line of microfluidic micromodels that reproduce reservoir pore-space geometry on a silicon-and-glass die. The transparent glass part of the chip lets you observe fluid flow, oil displacement and phase interaction in real time under a microscope.
The line covers the core flow-study scenarios: screening of polymer and chemical formulations for enhanced oil recovery (EOR), gas injection, and determination of solid-precipitation conditions.
The chips run inside a microfluidic holder. Silicon-glass chips withstand pressures up to 1000 atm, enabling flow modeling at reservoir conditions. Standardizing the line gives repeatable and predictable laboratory tests.
