LABADVANCE designs and manufactures syringe cylinders to the customer's task: volume, body and piston material, seal type and connection layout are matched to the specific pump, rig and method. The cylinder works as a replaceable working cylinder for a syringe pump or as a standalone dosing and storage unit in the flow circuit.
The body and wetted parts are made from stainless and chemically resistant steels or special alloys, including Hastelloy. Seals — PTFE/PEEK assemblies, FKM, FFKM and others — are chosen for water, salt solutions, oil, gas, solvents, polymers, surfactants and biocompatible media. Volumes range from compact cylinders for microfluidics to larger ones for long-duration tests.
The cylinders are compatible with LABADVANCE pumps, BPRs, piston containers, microfluidic cells and MFS systems and are adapted to the fittings of an existing rig. A single cylinder can be ordered or replaced without changing the pump system, and local manufacturing and spare-parts supply reduce equipment downtime.
